I was kinda excited when I get to know that Pastamania has turned into a Halal restaurant now. I knew it first from reading Munyra's blog, then on msn Geraldine told me. Cool or whut?? How I wish Fish & Co and Subway would be Halal too.
I was thinking how sweet if dearest Umar would bring me there.. But in my mind was like: nah.. he shouldn't spend too much money on me. He is very busy with NS and other stuff..and that money for food is better spend for his other expenses.
yup so yeah..i didn't put high hopes when I met him up again on Sunday. He asked me what & where would I like to have for lunch. I told him that I don't mind.. anywhere also can. ( I always said that phrase whenever he pop that qn. I'm sure he is sick of it. hahHA!) He said he wanted to eat KFC at Funan. AND he said he has a secret for me. Suddenly I remembered about the Pastamania thingy and I told him all about it. He looked kinda surprised when I mentioned "Pastamania". He said," I ate there already. I went there with my friends last week."
I WAS SHOCKED!!
like..u went there, without telling me? and the worse thing is that u didnt even told me that it was halal? darn demoralised. like..am i not important to you?
so okay. fine. sad.
When we've reached Funan, we were outside KFC just looking at the menu ( for abt 10 sec), then he pulled my hand while mumbling.. "I don't wanna eat at KFC, I wanna bring you to a special place.." and right behind KFC was... yeap..
pastamania. I felt like crying on that spot.
He is so sweet. I asked him about his lunch with his friends at Pastamania last week, he said bluntly.. "I lied to you. I wanted to see your reaction."
you... meanie.
It was very sweet of him. I can't believe he did that. Thanks my love. No flowers but..who cares? Flowers doesn't last forever.. but memories does.

Today is Valentine's Day huh? me and umar don't really celebrate it I suppose...
Because he brought me to Sentosa today... Not only the both of us..
but with his FAMILY.
How weird is that?? I can say that is pretty weird to happen on Valentine's Day!! however today wasn't as bad as it seems.. (i'll elaborate more on today's Sentosa outing when I get the photos. hehe!)

So.. from what I've noticed, the sunglasses/shades craze started around... 2-3 years back? (correct me if I'm wrong) I'm guessing it became popular when Paris and Nicole wore them. Since then on, every one thinks that over sized shades with chunky frames and wide arms are fashionable. Marc Jacobs and Fendi carry those kind of designs..

WHOah.. those ladies sure dress to kill. Whatever it is, I do find those shades pretty haute.
Then recently, Kanye West wore a retro inspired shades in his "Stronger" music video called:
Shutter Shades! pretty neat, huh? the design is clean, fresh and the good thing is that it doesn't protect ur eyes. like..hello? it is just a plastic frame, with horizontal lines across. the lines/shutter is not made at a certain angle to protect ur eyes if someone were to throw a spitball at you. Maybe the shutter should have a funtion where u can flip them open and close,and there's a button at the side of the frame, like a window shutter. That would be super awesome.
it comes in many bright colors.. any colors to match any outfit. and some even glow in the dark. Cool invention huh? now at night u can cross the road with ur eyes closed.

Silver-tasseled sunglasses! I like this one. That has got to be one of the most coolest sunglasses ever. and it doesn't protect ur eyes either! it might even make ur eyes twitch here and there because the silver-tassel might get into ur eyes. like hairs getting into ur eyes. the material looks like it came from Tina Turner's dress or something. hahAHHA! Might look a little weird and out of this world, but still cool.
I wanna own one of Beyonce's Silver-tasseled sunglasses! I wish.
My second year of poly has ended. (actually last week we had our last day of sch). Yesterday we had our last 2 submissions: Brand Design & Development and Logotypes. We were supposed to present our work nicely on the table. I felt that I did satisfactory work..and i really wasnt prepared in decorating my whole package. my classmates have decorated their work so nicely. with table cloths, to fork and spoon, to guitars, to cheesecake! they decorate their whole table and make it look as real as possible. cool! too bad I really wasn't prepared for it. But i manage to present even though i made some blunders here and there. :D
but anyway..since now is the holidays..I can rest and enjoy!! weeeeeee~!!!
So far, I've played Second life, watched Ellen, and We got married. I still have not touch Gossip Girl, Avatar, play Pet Society and PS3 Home. Haiz.. I have so much to do?
i still need to: -clean my room -get a part time job (if I'm not lazy) -get ready for the Bazaar-thingy on this monday -make illustrations for Safa -do something special for my special someone -send my laptop for repair -get a new haircut

But NOOO.... when I turned my laptop again like around..3PM.. it was still the same.
I left it alone for almost one whole day and turned it on again on Saturday morning. I was delighted when my laptop screen looks fine.
HOWEVER, on Sunday it went from bad, to normal( sat), to worse! 90% of the screen was red! oh my god you have no idea how downcast I felt. I lock myself in my room.. not wanting to show my parents how weak I was.. that I'm such a failure..such a cry-baby at this age.. but I have no choice. Who is gonna pay for my laptop repairs?They are the only people who can help me out. So I just came out of my room, both my parents look at me in astonishment, and I just pointed to my laptop neatly placed on my table with a haywire looking screen.
Drama I tell you.
then I was more sad that I was not able to send my laptop for repair on Sunday cause most shops were closed. Cause it was the eve of a public holiday dammit!
I have no other choice but to wait for Wednesday. Luck was on my side today coz my older cousin manage to connect my laptop to my house computer monitor.. and thank Allah it works! now I can do my work without worrying whether I got the correct color on my work..or my laptop would explode.
YAYNESS. ^.^
My school work has been delayed for 2 days. wasted.. but I've decided to enjoy those moments.. not worrying to much about it. There's nothing I can do about my laptop, might as well just enjoy myself and rest. But now I can work as per normal. I can see color clearly now! I shall buck up now. No time shall be wasted. I've rested well enough.

I've learn something useful today.. and that is 'letting tears coming out from your eyes' is not a bad thing after all. It is better than forcing yourself not letting them out and keeping your feelings bottled up inside yourself.
that's about it today. oh yes. one more thing. I've eaten spaghetti thrice today. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
